My name is Catalina Lawrence and I am from the United States of America, specifically a town called Swarthmore in the state of Pennsylvania. I went to England for my University education in biomedicine and now I am working in the primary and secondary schools in Benasque as an Auxiliar de Conversación. I wanted to participate in this program because I believe I would find great joy in helping children understand my own language and culture. I was really happy and excited that I was going to come to Benasque since I enjoy the mountains. I feel fortunate that I was able to come here because not only is Benasque a wonderful place with beautiful scenery, but also the people and children here are so friendly and kind. These qualities make Benasque a special place and as a person who is from a different country, this makes life here so much easier and enjoyable.
